Furry Felines Rescue and Adoption Team is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the humane care of kittens in Solano County and surrounding areas. It is the mission of Furry Felines Rescue and Adoption Team to save as many newborn orphaned kittens as possible and secure them with a safe and loving forever home. We are dedicated to the care we give to our newborns but also accept juveniles and adult cats. Furry Felines supports reducing the homeless population through spay and neuter/TNR efforts with our community. We also help guide responsible pet ownership and proper animal care, all in hopes to end the life cycle of abused and homeless animals.
Our team works together and opens up their homes to misplaced kittens/cats who have been abandoned, abused, mistreated or born in the wild. It is our mission to treat each kitten/cat with the personal love that one would give to a human. We believe in second chances and that’s why we also take in feral and mistreated felines.
Our adoption fee is $100 and includes your kitten/cats spay (girl) or neuter (boy), their FVRCP vaccination, a microchip, treatment for parasites (deworming), vetting and flea treatment. Our babies are also litter box and scratching post trained. Most kittens/cats have been socialized with kids, other cats and dogs.
Our rescue is funded on grants, donations and through fundraisers. We heavily rely on the community for help with everyday necessities and donations to help fund our vet bills and supply demands. The entire team is made up of volunteers who give their own time to work with these babies day in and day out, with the mutual goal of rescue in mind.
