Happy National RESCUE dog day!

This is Juice. He was going to be killed at an Amish puppy mill in Indiana because he has a heart murmur and was deemed on breedable and unsellable. He needs a $9000 heart surgery, which we are trying to raise money for. We have also reached out to Ohio State veterinary school as well as Michigan State vet veterinary school to see if they would do it as a teach. Ohio State said no, and we have not heard back from Michigan State.

If you know of any cardiology veterinarians that might be willing to help us, please let us know. He needs the surgery or he will die of CHF by the age of five. He also needs a home.. he will most likely be on medication for the rest of his life, however, he needs a very low energy household.

CHASE NEEDS A FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME ASAP! Michigan and surrounding states.

This sweet and spicy little guy loves life and is so full of joy. Chase is 2 years old, loves to give you kisses and lay on your lap on his back with his adorable big ears splayed out. He is very affectionate and loving but can be aggressive to new people. He seems to do worse with men. He is very scared of them. He has been in force free boardi and train for two months.

He shouldn’t be around children. Chase is an active boy who loves to play but also likes to cuddle. He would likely enjoy living with another dog but very slow intros are needed. We don’t know how he is around cats. Chase needs someone who can provide him with the life he deserves - with structure, advocacy, safety, and unconditional love. Could that be you?
