Dear Soccer Planet Community,

In 2010, one soccer loving family dreamed about bringing indoor soccer to the Champaign-Urbana area. That dream came to fruition in October of 2011 with the birth of Soccer Planet. Since then, with the help and support of all of you, the soccer loving community of CU and surrounding communities such as Danville, Mahomet, Charleston, Monticello, St. Joe, Rantoul, Fisher and even Crawfordsville, Indiana, Soccer Planet has become a place for our community to enjoy the world wide sport of soccer.

Our family wants to thank all of you for your support of Soccer Planet throughout the past seven years. We are excited that three other local soccer loving families will be continuing what we have all enjoyed at Soccer Planet. We are confident that they will also bring new and exciting programs. Please join us in welcoming Mike Burrus, Achim von Bodman, Mark Sikora and their families as the new owners of Soccer Planet. We are looking forward to seeing you all out there in the near future.

Getting ready to go teach agility classes on this cold, snowy evening, but "have" to wait for these evening guests to nosh on bird seed before we can leave. Looking forward to beating the winter training blues by coaching all the wonderful teams that will be there tonight.
