Striker, 13, passed away after living a long and happy life. He was born on February 8, 2013, and was dearly loved by his parents, Mark and Phoebe King.

Striker loved being with his family and could often be found curled up next to his parents when they weren’t out barking at the squirrels. He was a loving companion who touched the hearts of everyone he met and will be deeply missed.

We will never forget you, Striker. ♥

‼️Please keep your pets safe in this weather. It is too hot outside for anything to be stuck out doors. Heatstroke can happen in a matter of MINUTES.

As temperatures rise, it's important to keep our furry friends safe from the heat. Dogs can overheat quickly, especially when left outside for long periods.

✔️ Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water
✔️ Make sure they have access to shade or air conditioning
✔️ Walk and exercise during the cooler morning or evening hours
✔️ Avoid hot pavement that can burn paw pads
✔️ Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse

If it's too hot for you, it's probably too hot for your dog. A little extra care can help keep them happy, healthy, and safe all summer long!
