It was a weekend to remember for the Wheatland Equestrian team at Loch Moy Farm Summer Dressage!
Anthony Forrest piloted both Muriel Forrest ‘s “Papillon” and “Patronum De L’aube” in the USEF 4 year old and FEI 5 year old Final tests respectively.
“Papillon” 🦋 (4yo filly by Vivat Rex out of a San Amour mare), made a strong debut with an impressive 78.4% in the USEF 4 year old test! Even with tricky warm-up conditions, Pippa put on her dancing shoes and was a total professional from start to finish. Being her first ever outing, we were incredibly impressed with her poise and confidence.
Shortly after, “Patronaum De L’Aube”🌅 (5yr old by Desparado out of a P*k Donnerhall mare; bred by Haras De L'Aube 🇧🇪🇫🇮) made his way down centerline for the FEI 5yr old Final test. Paddy laid down a remarkable test to bring home an astounding 81.2% for the win🥇🏆
It was an incredible outing for both horses from start to finish! Weekends like these are a reflection of the incredible team we have both at home and in the show ring! Thank you to our wonderful staff, sponsors, and supporters for making days like these possible!
