Please join us in welcoming Victory!

This sweet baby spent months alone in the mountains simply trying to survive. Trust was finally gained and she was brought to safety.

She was skin and bones with most of her hair coat either falling off or completely matted.

We are gonna say this as diplomatically as we can….we are sick and tired of pets being treated like throw away trash. We are tired of cleaning up after people who could care less about their pets. We are simply tired!

Victory is in a wonderful foster home getting all the love and care, she most likely never received in her short life.

Her mats have been removed, she got a shower, and is recovering well.

We are so grateful for everyone involved in getting this girl to safety.

Victory is a young girl who has decided that toys are the best thing ever!😍😍

🌈🐽 Rest In Peace, Piggy Smalls 🐽🌈

Piggy Smalls was one of our longtime piggle residents at our sanctuary. He was saved from ACCT Philly as a starved baby who had a multitude of complications due to his malnutrition. His growth was stunted and he had a permanent limp, but we loved him just the way he was. A few days ago, Piggy Smalls started acting a little off and wasn’t being himself… our vet was called and we started him on antibiotics and pain meds and took his temperature numerous times a day. Our vet appointment was scheduled for today… but sadly, Piggy Smalls passed on his own, just minutes before the vet arrived. 😢 Four State Veterinary Services did a postmortem exam on him and could feel an abnormal mass in his belly…. So an ultrasound was done. It appears our sweet little man was riddled with cancer and had a large mass on his liver. There wouldn’t have been anyway to save him.

We are very saddened by the unexpected loss of Piggy Smalls but can smile over all the beautiful memories we have of him. He often traveled to events with us… many of you may have met him at The Pet Expo over the years.

Rest in peace, sweet man…. 🐽🌈💔

🐶🐶FOSTER NEEDED🐶🐶

Milo found himself abandoned with his litter mates as a tiny puppy. He has spent two years of his life roaming from an elementary school to people’s yards, being fed by the community. His littermates were all snatched up as a puppy off of the streets, but nobody picked up Milo.

He is clearly dog friendly and kid friendly and, cat friendly!He has been to the vet and he’s got a clean bill of health and is arriving on June 20.

A very kind lady took him in and is keeping him safe until he can come join us.

We have saved some incredible dogs from ACCT in Philly this year and we don’t understand why all these dogs are still waiting to be adopted.
They beat their timestamps and overcame their medical crises yet here they are, still waiting for their happy endings.

Meet Amy!

Amy is a 5 year old red eared slider. She is bold and active, has a big appetite and loves to explore. She has shown no signs of aggression and just hides in her shell when picked up. She is looking for her forever home as this will be her fourth placement.

Amy will come with her complete set up! As she grows, she will need a bigger tank. For sliders, the rule of thumb for minimum tank size is 10 gallons per inch of shell length.
