Zorro made an appearance at the barn to brush up on riding skill. Our golden steed cinder tried to keep up but found it best to leave the galloping and rearing to the younger generation of steeds. We can also report seeing a cute little Witch and the ever adorable Dorothy, both straight from their festivities in OZ, riding two very cute little hrey ponies. Unfortunately we do not have pictures of them, but will share them if they should pop up.
Thank you to everyone that helped make our “Halloween Not So Horror” event a success. Now it’s on to Thanks Giving. Hmm I wonder if any of the ponies will show up in costumes to celebrate the first dinner?

We are currently looking for a part-time riding instructor to join our team. Looking for someone with experience teaching Beginners thru intermediate (maybe advanced) level students. Should have knowledge of basic flat work with some classical influence, work well with other instructors and knowledge to bring riders along jumping.
Will do group and private lessons. This is a position for home only and does not include horse showing. Needed for 3 or possibly 4 days per week, approximately 5 to 6 hours a day. Must have own transportation and be dependable. Must be able to work 1 weekend day and have flexibility to occasionally cover for other instructors. Strong starting wage above industry standards.

For Lease - Chia - 9 year old KWPN mare. On Property Lease Only. We are happy to offer this lovely mare for lease to a rider looking to show the 2024 show season. She has tons of mileage at both local and rated level shows primarily the 2'6" divisions. Can move up to the 3's with right rider. Must take lessons and share lease with owner for walk trot lessons once or twice per week. Lease will be responsible for partial board and shared expenses for farrier, shots and routine care and a very reasonable lease fee. Options for 6 months or one year.
