💕 Bonded Pair Seeking Their Forever Home 💕

Some friendships are simply meant to last a lifetime.

Meet Thelma (IEPA-A-19160), a 6-year-old Doberman Pinscher, and her best friend (IEPA-A-19161), a 10-year-old Boxer. These sweet girls share a special bond and are looking for a family willing to open their heart and home to both of them.

🖤 Thelma is a stunning Doberman with gentle eyes and a loyal spirit.

🤎 Her Boxer best friend is a happy-go-lucky senior with a heart full of love and a smile that can brighten anyone’s day.

Together, they provide companionship, comfort, and confidence for one another. After everything they’ve been through, we’d love to see them stay side by side as they begin their next chapter.

🏡 Adopting a bonded pair means you’ll never have to worry about your dog being lonely. These girls already have their built-in best friend and are ready to share that love with a family of their own.

✨ Two dogs. One incredible friendship. One lucky family.

🐾 Honey Needed Us. The Next Animal Will Too. 🐾

When Honey arrived at the shelter, she was suffering from what appeared to be a severe dog attack. She had multiple infected bite wounds and needed emergency surgery immediately. Just two days later, complications required a second surgery to remove additional damaged tissue and continue her treatment.

Today, Honey is healing because we said yes to the care she desperately needed.

But Honey’s story isn’t unique.

Every month, more than 40 dogs and dozens of cats come through our doors. Some arrive sick. Some arrive injured. Some need lifesaving medical care the moment they enter the shelter.

💔 Animals don’t arrive with insurance cards.
💔 They don’t arrive with savings accounts.
💔 They arrive depending on us.

Right now, we’re still $14,500 short of our $60,000 medical fund goal, and the medical cases keep coming.

Your donation helps ensure that when the next Honey arrives, we can immediately say:
❤️ Yes to treatment.
❤️ Yes to surgery.
❤️ Yes to a second chance.

Please consider making a gift today. Every dollar helps provide lifesaving care for animals with nowhere else to turn.

Together, we can make sure no injured or suffering animal is turned away simply because they arrived with nothing.

🐾 Why Is Showgirl Still Here? 🐾

Some dogs get overlooked because they’re shy. Some because they’re older. Showgirl? She’s still waiting because she’s a very special dog who needs a very specific home.

Meet Showgirl (IEPA-A-18879), a stunning 3-year-old Belgian Malinois with brains, beauty, and enough personality to fill a stadium. 💛🖤

📚 Knows basic commands
🧠 Smart and eager to learn
🎾 Loves toys
💦 Water lover
💕 Affectionate with her people
🐱 Good with cats
👧 Best with kids 13+
🏃 Thrives in an active home

Belgian Malinois are incredible dogs, but they’re not for everyone. These intelligent, driven companions flourish when they have structure, training, and people who understand the breed. That’s why we’re especially hoping to find Showgirl a home with Malinois or working-breed experience.

The surprising part? Dogs like Showgirl rarely spend much time in a shelter. Yet she’s still waiting in kennel D19 for someone to recognize what an amazing partner she could be.

If you’ve been looking for a loyal adventure buddy, a dog that wants to learn, play, and be part of your life, Showgirl may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.
