Friends of Upland Animal Shelter Friends of Upland Animal Shelter (Friends) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public benefit charitable organization.

We believe in the dignity of every life, and that every adoptable animal should receive the care and patience that is necessary to find a loving home. We offer a number of programs and initiatives to improve the lives of abandoned animals, reunite them with their owners, or find them new, forever homes, including:

Low-cost adoptions
Quality medical care for shelter animals
Training for new pet owners
Educational programs
Low cost spay/neuter programs
Free micro-chipping for Upland residents

Join us at Upland Animal Shelter from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM for a special Advocacy Event dedicated to helping our long-term residents get seen, shared, fostered, and ADOPTED! 🏡✨

📣 Find out how YOU can help give them more visibility
🏠 Learn about our Foster-to-Adopt Program if you’re not quite ready to commit

🐶 Fall in Love Foster-to-Adopt
Thinking about adopting but not quite ready to commit? Choose an eligible adult dog, foster for 2–3 weeks, and if it’s a match, receive 50% off the adoption fee! Eligible dogs are 30+ lbs. and have been at the shelter 30+ days.

🐱 Twice the Love This Fall
Because sometimes one kitten simply isn’t enough! 💕 Adopt two kittens of similar age and enjoy reduced adoption fees: $125 for the first kitten and $75 for the second.

♻️ E-Waste Collection • September 12
Clean out those old electronics AND help shelter pets! Drop off accepted e-waste at 2nd Chance Thrift Shop from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM. Your clutter can do some good! 💻📺🐾

💙 Advocacy Event • September 19
