If a quiet personality, comfortable ride, and sensible attitude are at the top of your wish list, this special boy deserves your attention before bidding closes!
Memphis is a 4-year-old bay Draft Cross gelding standing approximately 16.1–16.2 hands tall. He has the size and presence to turn heads, but his kind nature and easygoing personality are what make you want to stay a little longer. He’s a horse you look forward to riding—whether you have an afternoon to explore or simply want to unwind after a busy day.
✨ A comfortable ride you can look forward to.
Memphis is a push-to-go horse with smooth gaits and a rocking-chair canter. He rides English and Western, has been ridden bridleless, and will even lie down on command! He’s comfortable in the arena and has extensive trail experience, giving you plenty of ways to enjoy your time together.
🌲 Trail miles and real-world experience.
From exploring the trails to riding around the farm, Memphis has shown us a calm, willing approach to his work. He’s been introduced to flags, tarps, balls, whip cracking, and a variety of obstacles. We’ve also ridden him through town around heavy traffic, activity, and sirens, where he demonstrated the steady, thoughtful mindset we appreciate so much. 🚦🚨
He notices what’s happening around him, listens to his rider, and continues about his job. Be sure to watch his videos and see those moments for yourself!
🤎 His personality is what makes him memorable.
Memphis doesn’t need to hurry through life. Ask him to move forward, and he’ll go; ask him to take his time, and he’s happy to settle into a relaxing ride. His comfortable movement, willing nature, and experience outside the arena make him a pleasure to spend time with.
We also believe Memphis has a promising foundation as a mounted police prospect. His size, presence, and demonstrated responses to traffic, sirens, flags, and unfamiliar situations are qualities someone could build on with further specialized training.
Whether your plans involve trail rides, arena work, or adventures away from home, Memphis offers so much to appreciate. We’re proud to include him in our very best selection of the year—and today is your opportunity to make him part of your next chapter. 🐴✨
