We want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to those of you who fill out your paperwork correctly!!
This past week we had a GREAT example as to why that is so important. We tagged blankets, as usual, from one of our drop point stores. I opened a brand new bag of tags to use. We even staple tags, just in case the glue doesn’t hold… so it’s very rare to lose a tag. Well, this bag of tags were defective and they all broke and fell off. In 17 yrs of business, this has never happened to a batch of tags. (Yes, we will occasionally lose one or two.)
That’s a panic situation! 😱
***My motto: keep calm and carry on. 💁‍♀️😳****
Thank the Good Lord Above (and I mean that 🙌) that three out of four of the customers that we had already washed with those tags were extremely detailed in their blanket descriptions!!!
We don’t expect that much detail, but oh my goodness…. Those details saved us!! Please please use more detail than “sheet” and “blanket” on your worksheets!
We are slammed from spring until fall and it sure does help make things go a lot smoother in the shop. I do write basic descriptions on the worksheets myself… (some worksheets have nothing but a name 🫤) but if I had to go through every red, Virginia dirt covered blanket to write descriptions, then it would slow us down too much. We deal with hundreds of blankets and the worksheets are imperative to our business.
We love all of our customers, and we do our best, but we can’t possibly remember details about your blankets, the work you need done, and your drop point store.
The season is almost over for us. It’s time for a break.
Reminder: We will be cutting off pick ups after September 5th!!
Also, blankets are not being returned until payments are in, so please pay so we can get them back to you!

Hello to all of our wonderful customers and horse lovers!! 🐎 It has been an insanely busy season and we are ready for a break!
We are shutting down all blanket pick-ups on September 5th for this season. We won’t pick up again until next spring. That goes for our drop point stores (Saddlery liquidators in Haymarket, CFC Culpeper, and CFC Warrenton) and barn pick ups.
Our shop needs some maintenance and so do we. 🥴
We appreciate you all and will continue to work diligently to get your blankets delivered back to you before the weather gets cool!

If you have been utilizing this location as a drop point for blankets, please kindly redirect them to Saddlery Liquidators in Haymarket. They are aware of the situation and prepared to assist you. To facilitate a seamless transaction, we kindly request that you print the worksheet from our website, complete it, and include it in your bag. Please note that each bag requires a worksheet, and the drop point should be listed as "saddlery." We are committed to addressing any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you for your cooperation. We extend our sincere gratitude to Saddlery Liquidators for their willingness to accommodate the additional blankets.

🐎🐎🐎 Greetings to all our esteemed clients and horse enthusiasts! We wanted to let you know that we are equally aware of the sudden drop in temperature during the night.
Due to an unforeseen cold spring and subsequent late blanket turn-ins, our progress has been slightly hampered. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. Be assured that we are working tirelessly seven days a week to ensure a prompt delivery of your blankets.
The process is quite tedious as blankets need to be air-dried after each wash and waterproofing stage. We kindly ask for your patience as we strive to provide you with the best service possible. Thank you for your understanding.🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

🐎Hello all!! Excited for blanket pickups starting soon! My apologies for the confusion caused by my personal account being hacked, but we're back on track with admin abilities transferred to my new account.
Please print off forms and make sure all bags with blankets have a work sheet. ( they can be copies) If we are picking up directly at your farm (at least 15 blankets), or whether you are dropping off at one of our drop points, each bag will need a work sheet with all the info filled out. If you are using a drop point, please let us know which store you are using. Thank you!! 🐎

Hello horse-lovers!!! 🐴 We are starting to get busy with pick ups! Hopefully the cold weather is coming to an end!! Please make sure that your blankets are in bags and paperwork with your info and blanket instructions are in each bag. (You can print out worksheets at www. Spincycle-spec, or pick up a worksheet at our drop point stores). We pick up A LOT of blankets in black trash bags, so it’s imperative that each bag has paperwork! Make sure your worksheet has the drop point location listed on it!! Please be as specific about repairs as possible… including whether you want leg and butt straps replaced. Some people remove those before washing, so we won’t know if you want new ones unless you inform us. We will pick up at your farm if you have over 20 blankets, but you will need to use a drop point if you have less than that. We are being especially cautious considering the price of gas this year.
