Capture Life - It's not every day you get to see a huge crane lift two gigantic steel beams and put them into place. Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One is building a new fire station on Kimball Drive with Pease Construction and Rice Fergus Miller Architecture and Planning. I had the opportunity to be on-site and photograph this milestone in the building process. These beams will cap the ends of the apparatus bay (the fire truck garage 😀).

Capture Life - After many years of hearing the owls in my yard, I finally was able to photograph one. It went about their business as I took a lot of photos and they never flew away. And….I haven’t seen him again (this was in Dec 2025).
