We DESPERATELY need a good home for this girl. She can be very cat like, meaning she likes her boundaries, but can also be a lover! She just needs someone to love her like she deserves and I need the room in my home so i can take in more needy cats. PLEASE reach out with any questions!

It’s been a good week so far. We’ve had some kitties go home! Hooray! But we’ve also had 4 kitties come in. 4 kittens found in a hot cooler, one had already passed away. We’re calling them Coleman, Yeti, and Igloo. A senior stray who showed up at a fosters home. She was posted on all of the local sites and unclaimed. She’s having some ocular issues but she’s sweet as pie. The foster is calling her Luna (Luna 2! Haha). That puts us at 172 kiddos in care.

Can you skip the coffee or lunch out and send $5 their way?

We unfortunately lost Legend. 💔💔 He aspirated and was gone extremely quickly even with oxygen support. Since they were preemie and on extremely tiny feeds by syringe they were at very high risk for aspiration. Dary has since switched to a bottle which is much safer. Neonates especially preemies are so so hard. But we will spoil Dary rotten.

🛒🐾 Wishlist Wednesday 🐾🛒

With 173 kitties currently in our care, supplies disappear FAST around here! Every single day we’re cleaning kennels, sanitizing floors, feeding medications, scooping litter, and doing everything we can to keep our babies healthy and comfortable.

Right now our biggest needs are:

🧽 Disinfecting wipes for kennel cleaning
🧴 Bleach or OdoBan for sanitizing floors
🗑️ 33 gallon trash bags
🗑️ 13 gallon trash bags (we also use these as litter liners!)
🥣 Paper bowls for wet food and medications

These may not be the glamorous rescue items, but they are the supplies that keep the shelter running day in and day out for the 173 lives depending on us. 💙

If you’d like to help, items can be sent directly from our wishlist or dropped off locally. Every donation helps us stretch our funds further for veterinary care and emergencies.
