This past weekend was a busy one with Graduation parties! I absolutely love being able to help mommas while they plan their child's grad party ππ₯°
I've been along side mom's as they plan parties for several years now. Ive sat and listened to their themes and their child's (usually daughter π) vision for their party and how I can help them. I've listened and seen all of their ideas come to life. I've been there as they are frantically setting up and getting ready for the party. I've seen all the pictures and continue to see the same thing....."I wish I would have taken more pictures"
Here is what I've learned and what I will carry with me into planning my own daughters graduation party next year......
1. Hire a photographer or have a friend designated for pictures. Be in the moment, Momma! Not only do people naturally do better for a photographer, but YOU actually get to be in the photos. This is the most important one!!!
2. Hire the food out. Or at least some of it. Take something off your plate. You may be able to do it all, but you dont have to. I will really struggle with this one, because I can just do it π€ͺ
3. Plan in advance! Don't wait.
4. Have the party late April/early May or later May. Everyone seems to choose the same 2 middle weekends and it gets crazy!
Congrats to the class of 2026 πππ
