She's ready, and so are we. 💙

Quinn (Grace & Grit's Quinn-Tessential Sapphire) and Huckleberry (Grace & Grit's I'll Be Your Huckleberry) were bred today.

This is a pairing we've planned carefully, with temperament, structure and health in mind. The colors we're expecting: creams, blues and lilacs. We'll confirm with an ultrasound at the beginning of November and share the news as soon as we know.

Their pedigrees include Lilac Haze Bendrix, Hannibal at the Gates, Riot, Cavalli, Figaro, Pablito, Griffin and Dahlia Dawgs Coconut, to name a few.

Hemi just earned his FBDFA Legacy of Health — Silver level! 🥈🥈🐾 Verified across cardiac, patella, trachea, hip (normal preliminary), spine, and cataracts/JHC — six independently confirmed health screenings backing this boy up.

This is exactly why we test before we breed: real results, submitted and verified, not just claims. Hemi's final hips, elbows, and eyes evaluation is still ahead at 24 months, but this Silver certification is a solid marker of where he stands today.

Hemi's preliminary health panel is officially in the books! 🐾 At 16 months old, our boy came back with hips rated Fair (preliminary), a spine that falls well within normal range for the breed, and clean results across trachea, cardiac, and patella — all normal.

Health testing isn't a box we check once — it's an ongoing commitment. Hemi still has his final hips, elbows, and eyes evaluation coming up at 24 months, and we're currently applying for FBDFA Legacy of Health recognition with everything he's got so far.
