A Little Change of Direction ❤️
Hey y’all. We wanted to share an update about Time is Precious Pet Rescue.
For the time being, TiPPR is taking a break from intake and adoptions. Cas and Atlas have officially been picked up by their respective rescues, and we have also informed the boarding facility we have been assisting that we no longer have the capacity to continue helping with the dogs in their care. We wish them all the best and they've done absolutely nothing wrong we simply don't have the funds, placement, or bandwidth to continue.
Over the course of our involvement, we covered veterinary care, monthly preventatives, adoption events, online listings, photography, and hundreds of emails to other organizations in hopes of finding alternative placement for dogs who had been left in their care.
We absolutely do not regret helping. We were able to make a meaningful difference for several of those dogs, and we are incredibly proud of the work we accomplished for them. But we also have to be honest with ourselves about our limitations.
Getting so deeply involved in this situation pulled our focus away from the original mission of Time is Precious Pet Rescue: street rescue, community support, and giving animals a quality stay while they wait for their next home—not spending years of their lives in a kennel.
So we're taking a step back.
Time is Precious Pet Rescue is NOT closing. We are simply changing what our work looks like for a while.
While I finish my degree, pay down some personal debt, and put money into savings toward purchasing property for TiPPR, we will be shifting our focus toward:
🐾 Volunteering with our local city shelters
🐾 Pet food pantries and keeping pets fed in our community
🐾 Increasing access to affordable spay/neuter services
🐾 Community-based support that helps prevent animals from entering the shelter system in the first place
When I started TiPPR in 2023, I had a very different idea of what this rescue would become. I've learned an enormous amount since then—about rescue, sustainability, boundaries, and what it actually takes to build an organization that can continue serving animals for the long haul.
My dream has changed shape, but it is very much still alive. ❤️
Over the coming months, I look forward to sharing more about the experiences that have led us to reassess our approach and why I believe this change is ultimately going to make TiPPR stronger, more sustainable, and more aligned with the mission we started with.

We hope you'll continue supporting us while things look a little different. We're not going anywhere. We're just taking a breath, regrouping, and building toward something better.
