Important Facility Update:
The health and safety of every dog in our care is our top priority. We have recently identified cases of kennel cough (canine infectious respiratory disease) within our facility. Kennel cough is a common, highly contagious respiratory illness that spreads through direct contact between dogs and through shared airspace, especially in places where dogs gather. Most dogs recover with rest and supportive care, but some may require veterinary treatment if symptoms become more severe.
To help stop the spread and provide the safest environment possible, Blue Ribbon Dog Academy will be CLOSED for daycare on Friday, July 31, 2026. During this closure, our team will be performing a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning and disinfection of the entire facility using veterinary-grade disinfectants that are effective against the organisms commonly associated with kennel cough.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we take these proactive steps to protect all of our canine guests! If your dog develops a persistent cough, gagging, sneezing, nasal discharge, or other signs of illness, please contact your veterinarian and keep them home until they have recovered (around 7-10 days). Thank you for helping us keep our dog community healthy and safe! We appreciate every one of you!
