When you need a "cone of shame" but only have picnic supplies on hand! 🍽️😹

One of our amazing clients needed a quick solution to keep this sweet kitten from scratching, and they completely delivered with the ultimate DIY e-collar: a paper plate and a little green painter's tape. Not only is it absolutely genius, but it's officially the cutest thing we’ve seen all week. 💡🐾

What is the most creative pet hack you’ve ever had to pull off in a pinch? Tell us below! 👇

🐾 Does your dog love making people smile? They might be the perfect fit for therapy work!

CHAMP Assistance Dogs is expanding right here into Franklin County, and they are looking for friendly pups to support Mercy Hospital-Washington, local schools, and library reading programs. 📚🏥

They are hosting a 12-week Therapy Dog Class starting in November at Purina Farms. Check out the flyer for the specific skills your dog will need to know before evaluations!

A quick reminder: All dogs MUST have up-to-date vaccines before classes start. If your furry friend is due for their shots or you need a copy of their records for the evaluation, give us a call at the clinic so we can get you scheduled! 💉🐶

🗓️ Evaluations: Monday, Nov 9th

Happy Hump Day! 🐫
We promised Doc W***y a relaxing 'Spa Day' mid-week... 🧖‍♂️ This 'Doc' does not approve. -10 Stars! 😾🐟

Doc W***y is our 'unwilling' spa client today. He gives this mandatory mid-week bath a solid thumbs down (or paws down). Let's just say the 'Spa Day' did not pass peer review.

We hope your mid-week is going better than Doc W***y's!

Everest (Rylie’s dog) is managing the front desk today. Such a great receptionist!

After crunching the numbers (and a few ink cartridges), she has issued an executive order: Animal Clinic of Union will be CLOSED for Labor Day!

We’ll reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday so our hardworking staff can rest, recharge, and sneak barbecue scraps to their own pets. Have a safe and treat-filled long weekend! 🐾

We might be a little late to the paw-ty, but we couldn’t let the week end without celebrating National Dog Day! 🐾

This is Henry, Nora's 5 year old lab mix and he was well celebrated on Wednesday🐕

Wednesday was the official day, but let's be honest—every day is dog day around here.

How did you celebrate your pups on Wednesday? Drop a photo of your furry best friend in the comments below so we can admire them! 👇🐶

Ever wonder how we collect urine from our feline patients? 🐈🔬

Chloe is here today to help us demonstrate!

Step 1: We remove anything from the kennel that could soak up the sample, like blankets or soft bedding.

Step 2: We add a clean litter box with special non-absorbent plastic pellets. This lets cats like Chloe still have the satisfaction of digging around without ruining the sample! 🐾

Step 3: Once they do their business, we collect the sample and run the urinalysis. Easy peasy! ✨
