🎆 Fireworks Are Fun for Us… But Can Be Terrifying for Our Pets. 🐾❤️
As we celebrate with family and friends, let’s not forget our four-legged family members.
Every year, more pets go missing on the Fourth of July than any other holiday. Loud fireworks can cause even the calmest dogs and cats to panic, jump fences, break leashes, or run from home in fear.
🐶 Here are a few ways to help keep your pets safe:
✨ Keep them indoors before the fireworks begin.
✨ Close windows, curtains, and blinds to help reduce the noise.
✨ Turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to provide background sound.
✨ Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date.
✨ If your pet has severe anxiety, talk with your veterinarian about calming options before the holiday.
❤️ At Whistling Wings Kennel, we know your pets are family because that’s exactly how we treat them. Their comfort, safety, and well-being are always our top priority.
If you’ll be traveling or know your pet feels anxious during fireworks, we’re here to help provide a safe, secure, and loving place for them.
🎇 Wishing everyone a fun, safe, and blessed Independence Day! Let’s work together to make sure every pet is home, happy, and safe when the celebration is over. 🇺🇸🐾
