The loved horses go to heaven with no hair, & boy do I know miss Abby went there bald.
Abby was one of the very first client horses I ever was trusted to work with. Abby was as old as the dirt itself & sweeter than granny’s apple pie. Abby was a true example of how every horse should behave whether for standing respectfully for the farrier or teaching many many people to ride horses. The good horses go to greener pastures without any hair, the best horses go there with trimmed up pretty feet that’ll carry them into eternal life. Miss crAbby & Mary, thank you for trusting me these last few years. Saying goodbye to one the sweetest horses I truly think I’ve ever had the privilege of working with made me shed a few tears. Abby touched the hearts of so many people in ways that I couldn’t even put into words. Abby was a special girl, & I hope one day she meets me at the rainbow bridge with all my own critters to say hello. 🐴🩷

To everyone who’s been wondering what’s going on. I will respond to messages as I can. However, at this time I will be taking a break from the world of trimming & shoeing. This is not something I wanted to do & was really trying to put off making this post until I was absolutely certain of what is going on with my health.
That being said, I have been advised by multiple doctors now that this is not something I can continue to do for the time being.
I’m am very sorry for the inconveniences that I have caused anyone. This is a very difficult post for me as well as decision to make, but I have to prioritize my health at this time. In the future I do hope to continue working with horses as it is something I’m very passionate about. Thank you all for being supportive and understanding at this time. I will try to get back to you as I can.

Slacking in the photo dept. per usual. First time working with this horse/ these clients.
Before & after 😌
Also frog trim growth, it’s so satisfying when the frog comes out as one piece. Ideally though we try to keep them cleaned up enough they don’t get to that point. 😉
