Oops I did it again 😅

Our Home School program just got an upgrade. Can’t wait to set her up and make her my training studio on wheels.

If you’ve been with me long enough you’re probably familiar with our last van. This one will be set up very similar. If you’re new here welcome and stay tune for the fun content I’ll have out of my new van 😁. This will be primarily used for our Home School Program, if you’re interested send Artemis an email to inquire more info on Home School.

Screaming Happy 9th Birthday to the best of the best with honors, Sir Lobo Leonardo the 1st!

I look back in time and remember the day I was given the phone call that this little puppy was bitting the toddler he belonged to. The family desperately wanted to re home him. When I spoke to them they told me someone’s gotta take him or we have to take him to get put down. My trainer mind at the time knew it wasn’t this puppy’s fault. He was just being a puppy. What responsible adult gets a dog for a toddler 🤔. Anyways I lucked out!

9 years later and he is the best helper dog a trainer can ask for, the best semi retired Service Dog and the best companion! Lobo and I have been through so much together, he’s been my anchor through it all. Deep down I hope he knows how much he means to me and how much he’s helped me. We’ve had ups and downs but together overcame obstacles. I made the best decision 9 years ago, against all recommendations to not take him on, I did and it’s been worth it!

I love my big poppa! Happy birthday grumpy old man!

It’s never easy to give news to people especially news like this one.

Nancy and I have been training dogs together for 6 years. From being coworkers to working together in my own company. We have been through a lot together, lots or head budding and arguments to lots of laughs and fun memories. I wouldn’t have done it any other way. Nancy is now embarking on a new journey, she’s moving to Texas to be closer to her family. She will continue to do dog training and advocating for dogs so that’s a plus for people in Texas!

Nancy is finishing up her lessons and commitments here. Her last day is July 27th.

A public note to Nancy:

Nancy words cannot describe how grateful I am to you for your loyalty! I know I haven’t been the easiest of bosses. I do hope that in the years we worked together I was able to teach you a little something of what I know. Your absence here will be felt, your dedication to my baby (Supreme K9) is admirable. You have been a huge blessing in the growth in the company and that doesn’t go unnoticed. I will miss you as a boss but I will miss you more as my friend. Yeah I know we got phones and text and all but you know what I mean 😅. We have grown together in many ways from trainers to our personal life. Thank you for being my head trainer and treating my company as your own. One last thing I publicly apologize for the hard times I gave you, I’ve grown as person enough to know i could’ve handle things differently. Best of luck in your new journey I hope you continue to be awesome in our craft. Love you friend ❤️

Too often, dogs are misunderstood or even suppressed because we lack a deeper understanding of their genetic makeup.

Many of the behaviors we see in dogs are heavily influenced by their genetics. As a trainer in the past, I was often hired to “fix” certain behaviors. Admittedly, I initially followed my clients’ requests without fully considering the dog’s innate traits. Over time, however, I’ve come to appreciate and embrace each dog for who they truly are, rather than trying to mold them into something they’re not.

This is just the beginning of a thought process I want to share. Scroll to see where my mind is headed with this. I’m passionate about educating others because real change doesn’t come from judgment or ridicule—it comes from understanding and knowledge.

•2nd Annual Luna The Psycho Fundraiser Pack walk. Saturday 11/16 11:00AM- 1:00PM James J. Braddock Park, North Bergen.

This event is free but donations are welcomed. 100% of the proceeds will go to a local dog rescue. This is a judgement free Pack walk, no on leash greetings, no flexi leashes, Reactive Dogs welcome. You do not have to be a client to join us.

At Supreme K9, we prioritize using the right tools for each dog’s individual needs. Our training methods include a variety of tools, such as prong collars, e-collars, muzzles, fur savers, dominant dog collars, and bark collars. However, our approach is never “one size fits all.” We focus on what works best for each dog, aiming to stay as fair and balanced as possible while ensuring the dog’s well-being.

It’s surprising when potential clients say, “We want to work with you, but don’t use this tool on our dog.” If you’re not open to the tools we believe are necessary for your dog’s progress, then we might not be the right fit. Our priority is the dog’s success, and that means using the appropriate methods and tools for each unique situation.
