Founded in 1976 as an organization solely for charitable purposes and has the general responsibility to operate for the advancement of humane treatment and the prevention of cruelty to animals.

We are NOT Animal Services/Control and we do NOT receive state funding. Please be patient with the fact that we have limited space. We receive numerous calls daily about animals needing help and each of t

hem is just as important as the other. We do not have the capacity to take in an unlimited number of animals. Unfortunately, many must be turned away. We will provide you with a list of other shelters and information that may help you in your time of need. Toast recently enjoyed a little shelter getaway!

Toast is a friendly 2 year old male Cur/Hound mix (our best guess) weighing around 50 lbs. He is a happy and social pup who does GREAT with other dogs. He will need a home with no cats. Toast enjoys playing in the yard and receiving attention from people. He's a very sweet dog. Toast is ready to join his forever home and will make a wonderful companion!

Meet Jessie 😍
She is a PRECIOUS 4 year old female Terrier mix weighing 42 lbs. She has short legs and a big heart! Jessie is the ultimate cuddle bug - she loves receiving attention and spending time with people. She would make a great couch companion!🏡Jessie is social and playful with other dogs. She also doesn't seem to mind cats. This little bundle of joy is ready to snuggle in her forever home!

General is ready to make a splash 💦

He is a fun-loving 1 year old male Lab/Hound mix weighing approx. 45 lbs. He is not overly social with people, but he LOVES to play! Give this boy a pool with water or a hose and he will surely entertain you! General enjoys chasing toys, splashing in the water and going for walks. He does well with other dogs and will need a home with no cats or small livestock. General recently completed 10 weeks of training through the Greyhound Advancement Center. While there, he learned basic and intermediate commands, and he is eager to continue learning in his new home!🏡 Spend time with General at our shelter and you'll quickly see what a special dog he is!
