Meet Benny! 🐈‍⬛🖤

This sweet little guy is about 8 weeks old and looking for his forever home! Benny is playful, curious, litter box trained, and loves a good couch cuddle after a day of exploring. 🐾

He gets along great with other cats and would love a home with a kitty friend to keep him company!

Benny was neutered on 7/29 and has started his kitten vaccines, which will need to be continued as he grows.

✨WELCOME✨

We are so excited to introduce the newest addition to our team, Dr. Leonard Marque! Leonard Marque, DVM was born and raised in the Bay Area. After completing his undergraduate studies at UC Davis, he worked for 7 years as a technician in human biomedical research at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. His experience working with animal research models and the veterinarians who cared for them sparked his interest in veterinary medicine, he decided to go back to school to earn his veterinary degree to more directly benefit animals. He graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies in 2025, completing his clinic studies at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Marque is thrilled to be joining the team at Mendocino Animal Hospital. He looks forward to serving the people and animals of his community and continuing the hospital's tradition of strong client relationships. With an appreciation for the potential for developments in veterinary medical research to improve and extend life, he strives to provide clients with the information they need to make decisions regarding their pets' care.
