This sweet boys parents saw one of the last videos I posted of a consult and gave us a call to set something up for him. It was a pleasure to pamper this boy & to have the opportunity to get to know his sweet personality! 👀 Come along with me on this behavioral consult during a grooming session! 😍

🧠 I’m sharing this case as it’s a perfect example as to why it is so important for professional stylists to take the time to have the harder conversations with paw parents. This sweet pups parents were more than willing to do the homework, set the reoccurring appointments and to do the research on natural calming aids to get their pup on the right path. They only needed the insight on the issue their pup was having and some guidance on how to set them up for long term success. After all, this is a different behavior than what they are used to seeing at home, our pups comfort zone 🏡

It’s ✨equally✨ as important for paw parents to listen to their professional’s input/suggestions on any issues that they may be running into with their pet, when we are attempting a service thats naturally outside of their pet’s comfort zone. The only way we can confidently and comfortably work through these situations is together, with mutual understanding, respect and compassion for these fur-babies 🤍
