Granite Mountain German Shepherds

Granite Mountain German Shepherds Working line German Shepherd Dog breeder in North Central Washington State with delivery to Seattle Working line German Shepherd breeder in Washington state.

Granite Mountain German Shepherds is located in the Okanogan highlands on highway 20 near Louploup Pass in North Central Washington. Due to our rural location, we provide free delivery of your chosen pup to Seattle or Spokane/Coeur d'Alene when the pup is 8 weeks old. We fell in love with German Shepherds in 2013. Since then we have adopted compatible breeding pairs of working line German Shepherd

s. Our dogs are part of our family and they live their lives as such. They are well adjusted in a variety of situations, such as; visitors, dog parks, farm animals, wildlife, children, cats, chickens, vehicles, on-leash, off-leash, road trips, backcountry hiking, skiing, hunting, etc. They have free run of our 20 acre farm and go on weekly adventures with us. The pups are raised around children, cats, indoor and outdoor play, farm animals, wildlife, and visitors. We believe this early introduction to an array of stimuli leads to well-rounded temperaments in our pups. Granite Mountain German Shepherds began breeding because we believe that proper breeding with desirable genes in a healthy, well-rounded environment creates superior working dogs and family companions. Our dogs are tested for hip and elbow health, DM and receive working titles. We breed “do anything shepherds” with the drive, loyalty and obedience to work as SAR, narcotics, explosives detection or Schutzhund dogs and the level head and gentle demeanor to snuggle the kids at the end of the day. We love our dogs!

Y Litter has had a week full of adventurous field trips, baths, play dates and shenanigans! At 6 weeks old, they are in full land shark mode and love to explore new environments and meet new people. Mama has decided it’s time to wean and the pups are eating softened kibble, canned food and raw foods. They are full of sweetness and sass and loving life! 1 female reservation available www.granitemountaingermanshepherds.com

Y Litter is one month old today and ready to rumble! This week, the pups began eating solid foods to supplement mama’s milk. Don’t mind their messy faces as they learn to navigate this eating business by diving face first into their food bowls. They have the hang of drinking water from a bowl and they are confidently trotting around the yard exploring new sights and smells. At this age the pups occupy their days with naps, chewing on each other, naps, exploring, and then more naps. 1 female 👀 4 🏡 www.granitemountaingermanshepherds.com

Y Litter is 3 weeks old today and had a blast on their first outdoor adventure ☀️ They are getting more playful with each other, working on their barks & growls, walking around on sturdier legs and have just started drinking from a bowl.

Due to a cancellation, we have one little lady looking for her forever home when she is old enough.

Happy 2 week birthday to “Y” Litter! I can’t get over how plump and spoiled these sweet little beans are 💕

Blue collar (black and tan female) wins for posing the cutest in pictures so far. Red (sable male) is the plumpest. Green (sable male) yells the loudest when he’s hungry. Purple (sable female) is the snuggliest. And pink (black female) is the quietest.

Y Litter is one week old today! These cuties have been nicknamed “the sausage rolls” due to their adorably plump stature. With an attentive mama and a smaller litter, these little ones have not been shy about hitting the milk bar around the clock. They may already be just a little spoiled! All pups are reserved.
