Coyote Attack 😭

Rescue Lyfe got a call about a Border Collie puppy, approximately 6 months old, who had been attacked by a coyote DAYS ago and left untreated here in 29 Palms. 😳💔 I went and picked her up.

The people who lived at the property moved out and left her and her sister behind. 💔 Rescue Lyfe now has both girls.

Neighbors heard screaming and ran outside, only to find a coyote dragging this poor baby away by her neck. 😭 I was also told their mom was killed by coyotes.

Ivy is all cleaned up from her attack. She’s on antibiotics now.

But I want to use Ivy’s story as an awareness post, because this is happening far too often.

Ivy was attacked in 29 Palms. When I got to Veg, I had to wait a long time because two other dogs were there being treated for coyote attacks — also from 29 Palms. 😳

Ivy is only 18 pounds, and a single coyote was literally strong enough to drag her away by her neck.

The other two victims were Dachshunds. Sadly, one of them didn’t make it. 💔

Just a couple weeks ago one of my clients lost their dog to a coyote.

Please, please don’t let your dogs outside alone — even in your own yard. Coyotes are out there, and they can move incredibly fast. Small dogs are especially vulnerable.

Ivy was lucky. ❤️‍🩹

Please keep an eye on your babies. A backyard is not always a safe place. 🐾💔

Every. Single. Morning. 🤣

At exactly 6:00 a.m., my alarm clock comes with four legs and weighs about 120 pounds.

Instead of barking or jumping on the bed, my Great Dane stands at my feet and gently rubs against them until I start petting him... with my feet.

Apparently that’s his official “Good morning. Breakfast isn’t going to serve itself.” routine.

He won’t give up until I get out of bed, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Anyone else have a dog with a hilarious morning routine? Let’s hear it!

Belgian Malinois Puppy Update!

These two beautiful girls are searching for their forever families.

At Rescue Lyfe, our goal is always to place puppies directly into their permanent homes whenever possible. We want to avoid them bouncing from foster home to foster home, especially with an intelligent, loyal, and active breed like the Belgian Malinois. These early months are incredibly important for building trust, confidence, and lifelong bonds with their families.

Don’t miss your chance to adopt one of these amazing puppies! If they aren’t adopted locally within the next week, they will be transferred to one of our trusted rescue partners in Idaho to continue their search for forever homes.

These puppies have been exceptionally well socialized and have grown up around:
🐶 Dogs
🐱 Cats
🐢 100-pound Sulcata tortoises
🐷 Even a pig!

They’ve also been introduced to water play and already love splashing around, helping them become confident, well-rounded companions.

After recovering from a significant worm infestation, they’re still putting a little weight back on, but they’re doing wonderfully and are ready to find the families they’ve been waiting for.

If you’d like to welcome one of these incredible pups into your home, please complete an adoption application at RescueLyfe.org/forms. 🩷

It’s absolutely asinine and ridiculous to see people trying to pick apart, sabotage, or spread false rumors about dog rescues when they have no clue what’s actually going on. Whether it’s jealousy or something else, it’s petty and harmful.

Meanwhile, dogs are being dumped on the streets, neglected, stuck in hoarding situations, and bred illegally left and right all in the name of profit. THAT is where our community’s energy should be going.
Instead of bashing, sabotaging, or threatening to hurt a rescue’s reputation that you can clearly see is out there everyday helping dogs in need, how about support each other? Rescue is hard work!

If you think running a rescue is easy, try stepping into the trenches. Try pulling dogs out of hoarder homes, off the streets, out of neglect cases. Try covering thousands in vet bills with little to no help. Try losing sleep, sanity, and money just to give innocent dogs a chance.

Lift each other up. Do better -for the dogs.
Period.

And if you’re not out here doing whatever you can to save dogs that are clearly in need, then stay the hell out of the way of the people who are! •MurKat•

Some of y’all might have seen the post last night…..well here’s the story. Now those poor dogs are no longer at the pinned location. They are living with the man in the photo until they move to Washington supposedly. We would love to know their new location and the owners names so we can demand these dogs be removed from these conditions and get vet care they so desperately need. Their lives will never get better unless these people are stopped, this is not ok!!! If you know them please constantly report them!! If you know the location they are at please let us know and call the cops over and over again until they are safe. These dogs live in hell all in the name of PROFIT 🤮 (more videos in comments)
