OC Animal Care’s mission is to provide refuge and care for animals, foster the human-animal bond, and promote safety in our community. OC Animal Care provides services for 14 contract cities and the County unincorporated areas. OC Animal Care is open 7 days a week for redemptions, license renewal, intake, field calls, and Adoptions-by-Appointment with Walk-ins welcome! Wait! Their best chance at survival is with their mom.

Watch! Mom may be nearby hunting or waiting for you to leave before returning. Give it 4–6 hours and check back.

🐾 PET OF THE WEEK 🐾 Mila is one tail wag away from stealing your heart! This 7-year-old Jindo mix is a wonderful combination of smart, sweet, and friendly. Mila knows basic commands and she loves seeking attention and affection. She's the perfect walking companion you didn't know you needed and she has been a great play buddy with both people and dogs during Small Dog Play Group.

Mila's relaxed and calm demeanor makes her an ideal candidate for first time pet owners or seasoned pet parents. She is best suited in an adult-only home or a home with adults and older children. Give Mila (A1857465) a chance and visit her at OC Animal Care today!

Adoption Specials:
Waived adoption fees for dogs 25+ lbs
$25 adoption fee for cat and kittens
$100 adoption fee for dogs under 6-months-old and under 25 lbs

All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and mircrochipped.

Ivan was adopted as a puppy back in 2014, but now at 12-years-old, he’s found himself back at the shelter. 🥺 After years of knowing what it means to have a home, shelter life has been stressful for this sweet senior, and what he really needs is a quiet, comfortable place to rest his head.
 
Imagine Ivan curled up on a cozy bed in your living room, snoozing peacefully while you watch TV!  He’s the perfect mellow, calm companion to keep you company during a quiet evening or a lazy weekend at home.
