We are a laid back training
and boarding facility that also carries Seminole Feed. Once you are comfortable riding, we will gladly take you out on trail.

We offer beginner-experienced horsemanship and riding lessons...including grooming, saddling, handling as well as riding. We are not a "show" barn but we do compete it NATRC (Long distance Competitive Trail). We like to make sure we have well rounded horses, so we train them a little bit in multiple disciplines. We specialize in regaining a rider's confidence and helping horses and riders overcome their anxiety. Please contact us for available riding times.

The 2026 Alabama Open Horseman’s Association State Show 🏆 is coming up in T•W•O weeks!

Our competition team has been putting in the effort, getting ready, and adding the finishing touches for the State Show. We’re really excited to go up there and demonstrate all our hard work ✨

We’ll have Emma Davis riding Casteal, Annabelle Griffin riding Watermelon, Marlie Orange riding Spur, Mattie and Libbie Wilhite riding Oreo , Ella Grace Adamson riding Waylon and Simon, and Victoria Whitehead riding Lady.

We’d love for you to come see us at the Garrett Coliseum and Crawford Arena in Montgomery from September 4th through the 6th 💜

There is something so special about watching our mini riders grow.

At the beginning of the season, they were learning the basics, building confidence, and figuring out how to communicate with their horses. Little by little, ride by ride, they’ve become stronger, braver, and more capable than they ever imagined.

What makes these girls special is their willingness to learn it all. One day they’re practicing halter, the next they’re working through patterns, and before long they’re confidently trying timed events. They’re discovering that being a true horsewoman isn’t about mastering one thing—it’s about being patient enough to learn, determined enough to keep trying, and brave enough to step outside your comfort zone.

The hours spent in the saddle, the laughs during lessons, the mistakes that become learning moments, and the quiet bond they’re building with their horses are what matter most. Those are the moments that shape them.

These little riders are growing into confident young horsewomen, one ride at a time. And while they’re learning to guide a horse, they’re also learning perseverance, responsibility, kindness, and confidence.

Watching them fall in love with horses and become better riders has been the greatest reward of all. We can’t wait to see where this journey takes them. 🤍🐴

Our English competition team traveled to the Freedom Classic at Poplar Place on July 18th. The girls attended cross-country schooling on Friday before participating in the competition on Saturday. For the first time at the venue, we had a new rider show, along with two exceptional seasoned riders. The girls performed exceptionally well, the families had a great time, and the trainer managed to survive the weekend!

One of our favorite things as instructors is watching our students seek opportunities to learn beyond their regular lessons. This past weekend, they attended Tom McManus’ Long Lining and Dressage Clinic, where they expanded their knowledge, challenged themselves, and came home with new tools to help both horse and rider succeed. We couldn’t be prouder of their dedication to becoming lifelong students of horsemanship.

The competition team attended the final EAHA show of the season at the Chambers County Ag Arena in Lafayette. This season, our focus was on becoming well-rounded riders and showcasing our versatility. It’s not just about winning ribbons; it’s about our ability to seamlessly transition between Western, Ranch, English, and Timed Events. This season, these girls truly excelled and have left me in awe. We had an incredible time this season, we’ve grown as riders, and we’ve created unforgettable memories.

We’re excited to see everyone at the State Show in Montgomery this September!

One Horse. Three Arenas. Endless Possibilities.

There is something special about a horse and rider who refuse to be put in a box. In today’s horse world, it’s easy to believe success comes from specializing in a single discipline. One horse for barrels. Another for English. A different one for ranch classes. But every once in a while, a team comes along that reminds us what true horsemanship looks like.

These photos tell that story.

One moment, this horse is quietly carrying their rider through an English Walk-Trot class with balance, rhythm, and softness. The next, they’re stepping confidently into the Ranch Rail, showing the relaxed, willing attitude western judges reward. Then, with a simple change of tack and mindset, they’re flying around the barrel pattern with speed, athleticism, and heart.

The horse didn’t suddenly become different. The rider simply asked different questions. And the horse answered.

What makes this even more remarkable is that versatility doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built one ride at a time—through patience, consistency, and countless hours spent earning trust instead of chasing shortcuts. There are days when progress feels invisible. Days when one discipline seems to improve while another feels like it has taken a step backward.

Those are the days perseverance matters most. Every transition, every practice ride, and every adjustment teaches both horse and rider something valuable. The English arena develops balance and precision. Ranch work encourages softness, responsiveness, and relaxation. Barrel racing builds confidence, athleticism, and the willingness to give everything when asked. Rather than competing with one another, these disciplines complement each other, creating a horse that is stronger—both physically and mentally.

Perhaps the greatest lesson isn’t about ribbons or points. It’s about believing in what a horse is capable of when someone chooses to develop the whole horse instead of just one event. It’s about a young rider discovering that hard work isn’t always glamorous, but it always leaves its mark.

A versatile horse is more than an athlete. A persevering rider is more than a competitor. Together, they become partners who can walk into any arena with confidence—not because every ride is perfect, but because they’ve learned to adapt, trust each other, and keep showing up.

In the end, that’s what horsemanship has always been about.

Not choosing one path.

But having the courage to ride them all.

The competition team traveled to the Tri-County Horse Riding Club Show at the Chambers County Ag Arena. This time the show was set up with timed events coming first, followed by the judged ones. We kicked off the day with a bang and wrapped things up after the sun dipped below the horizon. The girls were absolutely fantastic! My riders and horses are getting stronger and stronger, and they’re all becoming a true team at each show. We’ve got one more show to go before the season wraps up, and then we’ll be gearing up for State.
