🚨 NO TRAINING TOMORROW! 🚨

Unfortunately, the heat is going to be WAY too much on both our trainers and our K9s, so we’re going to play it safe and cancel training tomorrow. 🥵🐾

The safety and well-being of our handlers and dogs always comes first! ❤️

We will resume training NEXT THURSDAY! 🐕‍🦺

Stay cool, stay safe, and we’ll see everyone Thursday! ☀️🐾❤️

🐾 NO ACTION SHOTS TODAY… BUT WHAT A TRAINING DAY! 🐾

While we didn’t get many action shots of the dogs working today, I can promise you… it was a GREAT training day! 🙌🐕‍🦺

Today we stepped into some more advanced training and worked on search & rescue-style exercises! 🔎

Handlers hid while our canines worked to seek and locate them. We also introduced and worked on scent work, putting those amazing noses to work! 👃🐾

And let me tell you… watching these dogs learn, think, problem-solve, and work alongside their handlers is AMAZING!

If you haven’t been to a class yet or you’ve been hesitant about joining, PLEASE COME! ❤️

You don’t have to have the “perfect” dog. You don’t have to know what you’re doing. That’s what class is for!

You’ll gain knowledge, confidence, and skills that will benefit both you AND your dog—and you’ll have a whole lot of fun while doing it! 🐶❤️

Come learn with us. Come work your dog. Come be part of the pack! 🐾

🚨 PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE… IF THESE ARE YOUR BOYS, COME GET THEM! 🚨

These two boys were FOUND NEAR FLATWOODS ROAD IN TUSCUMBIA, and we are desperately hoping their family sees this! 💔

They both have collars on, and ONE IS EVEN WEARING A PERIMETER COLLAR! Someone knows these dogs. Someone is missing them.

And guess what? THEY EVEN KNOW THEIR BASIC COMMANDS. 🥺

These aren’t dogs who have never had a home. They have clearly been someone’s boys. They know commands, they have collars, and they are desperately waiting for their people to come find them.

They are NOT doing well in the shelter. 😭

They are confused. They are stressed. They don’t understand why they’re here.

THEY JUST WANT TO GO HOME. 🏠💔

If these are your boys, PLEASE COME GET THEM!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported us with enrichment supplies!! ❤️🐾

Today was HOT, but our furry friends got a little bit of relief thanks to YOU! 🥹☀️🧊

They absolutely LOVED their pupscicles and enjoyed every single bite! Watching shelter dogs get to experience something fun, refreshing, and enriching makes our hearts so happy. ❤️

These may seem like little things, but to a dog spending their days in a kennel, they mean SO much. They get to have fun, use their brains, enjoy a special treat, and forget about shelter life for a little while. 🥰

And guess what?! They’re already looking forward to MORE! 😂🐶

We are always looking for volunteers who would like to come help us make up some pupscicles so we can RESTOCK THAT ENRICHMENT FREEZER! 🧊🐾

If you’d like to come spend some time making goodies for our shelter babies, we would LOVE to have you! ❤️

Thank you for helping us give these dogs more than just the basics. They deserve to be spoiled, too. 🥹🐾❤️

We are housing SO MANY cats and dogs right now, and our food supply is getting alarmingly low. 😭

We desperately need:

🐶 Dog food — NO RED DYE
➡️ Purina preferred!

🐾 Wet puppy food

🐱 Wet kitten food

🐱 Dry kitten food

🐈 Wet cat food

Every single bag, can, case, or donation makes a difference. With the number of animals currently depending on us for their meals, we are going through food FAST.
