Abby is our newest Pet Care Specialist, and she officially started with us today! We’re super excited to have her join our team and can’t wait for you and your pups to get to know her! 🐾✨

We asked Abby a few questions so you can get to know the newest member of the Paw-sitive Vibes family!

🐶- What past experiences do you have working with dogs?
A- I have been working with dogs for about 7 years. I have worked in vet clinics and shelters before here. I also had the opportunity to train service dogs in college!

🐶- Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
A- I have a big pitbull named Mo! He is the sweetest most slobbery dog you’ll ever meet

🐶 If you were a dog breed, what breed would you be and why? OR Favorite dog name you’ve ever heard?
A- If I was a dog breed I would probably be a poodle because I have curly hair and love to learn 🤓

🐶- What’s your go-to drink order?
A- My go to coffee order is caramel iced coffee

🐶- Favorite hobbies/passion outside of work?
A- I love doing anything outside! I love hiking, swimming, camping, and everything in between. I also enjoy reading and watching movies when I’m relaxing.

🐶- What do you love most about working with dogs?
A- I love how every dog has a unique personality you can get to know. They all become little best friends!

🐶- Personality-wise what dogs do you love working with most?
A- I love working with shy dogs most, it brings me joy to see them slowly come out of their shell and get comfortable with me and their new environment.

🐶- What is something you want pet parents to know about you?
A- I am so excited to meet and care for your dog! I will make sure they are as spoiled and happy as I would expect my own dog to be.

🐾💗 PINK TRAILER TIP: Could your dog’s shampoo be making their skin irritation worse?

Sensitive skin can be easy to overlook because the signs aren’t always obvious! From frequent scratching and paw licking to dry, flaky skin, redness, hot spots, or a dull coat, these can all be signs that your pup’s skin needs a little extra attention. 🛁🐶

Grass, pollen, swimming, outdoor time, and even frequent bathing can contribute to skin irritation, and some pups are more prone to sensitive skin than others.

✨ The good news? Choosing the right shampoo and grooming routine can make a big difference!

If your pup is showing signs of sensitive skin, talk with your groomer or veterinarian about what products and routine may be best for them. 💕
