Douglas County Animal Shelter will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen during our regular hours on Tuesday, September 8.

Courtesy Post: Hi! My name is Morris! I am 9 years old and the perfect house dog. I love people but do not get along with other animals. I’d love to have a home with a fenced in yard to roam around. I am up to date on all vaccines, including rabies and have been neutered and microchipped.

I am used to being alone and uncrated during the workday and am used to a dog bed or couch at night.
