Congratulations to Morgan Ebert on earning her LEAF certification through the International Association of Crime Analysts!

LEAF stands for Law Enforcement Analyst – Foundational. The certification recognizes analysts who have a solid working knowledge of crime analysis, data, patterns and the tools used to help law enforcement make decisions.

Our crime analysts work every day to help officers spot trends and make informed decisions that best serve the community.

Officer Shelby, a Tuscaloosa Police officer who works in some of our schools, recently received an “Everyday Amazing” shoutout for going above and beyond to help a family in need. 💚

“Officer Shelby exemplified ‘Everyday Amazing’ when he helped a parent in distress who had a flat tire on the way to school. Without hesitation, he stepped in to help, bringing calm to a stressful situation and ensuring the student arrived at school with a smile. We appreciate Officer Shelby and all TCS SROs for the care, service and protection they provide to our students, families, faculty and staff,” said Rhonda Steele-Rice, school social worker.
