After a rough start on Thursday when the wind took out our tent and roughed up our display we had a great weekend at the Fair.
Thank you to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office for loaning us another tent so we could reset up our booth! We had a great Friday and Saturday, we did make the decision to not set up today due to the rain.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hi and to support our Shelter. We loved speaking with everyone and meeting new visitors who were not familiar with our wonderful local dog shelter.
We look forward to the 2027 Franklin County Fair!

Thank you to our Volunteer Jane P. She donated this fun herding ball that our little friend Lady Bug tested out today.
We are happy to say Bug was exhausted after her play time.

We are set up at the Franklin County Fair, please stop by to say hi if you visit the Fair this weekend.

Do you need help with fall clean up? Kali would love to join your family and help with your gardening needs.
Kali is a shy female pup who warms up a little quicker with females but over time she will allow men in her circle. She would do best in a quiet home with a patient family. A fenced in yard is great for her zoomies but not a deal breaker.
If you are interested in meeting her please contact the shelter directly.
Multiple meet and greets may be nessasary for her to learn to trust her new family.

The Shelter will be closed Monday for Labor Day, the office will reopen Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM
