Big News!
We are sad to announce that our senior equine veterinarian and acupuncturist Dr. Mike Stanford and his wife Jana our Office Manager will be leaving Taylor Veterinary Hospital to move out of state to be closer to their family. We consider them both family and are sad to see them leave but are so grateful for the time and friendships they have built with our company.
With Dr. Stanford no longer practicing with us, our equine hospital will continue to maintain Dr. Rebecca Curry as our main veterinarian. Until we find a replacement veterinarian for Dr. Stanford our appointment and after hours availability will be less than what our clients are accustomed to.
We will have after hours emergency services available 50% of the week and appointment availability four days per week and some Saturdays. On days where we do not have emergency availability we will be referring to other local emergency practices for equine care. Thank you all for your understanding and patience during this transition period.

Red Flags to keep an eye out for:
* Horse did not eat feed from the morning
* No manure from the day in the stall
* Horse is pawing at the ground, seems uncomfortable
*Horse is continuously rolling/getting up and down

These could be signs your horse is colicing, best course of action is to trailer them into the hospital for treatment where we have all the tools and equipment needed to treat and hospitalized them if needed
