This week we took care of several critters that realized a little too late that actions have consequences. A hungry kitty trying to get the last little bit out of the jar; a goofy basset that decided eating a squirrel sized wad of grass was a good idea; and a playful pitt that bit off more rubber than he could digest. All 3 are happy and healthy again.

Please give a warm welcome to the newest veterinarian to All Animal Hospital.

Dr. Sarah Rubelowsky is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Environmental Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. After graduating, she worked as a Scuba Diving Instructor and Conservation Coordinator in the Florida Keys before pursuing a master’s degree in marine biology from Texas A&M University at Galveston.

Dr. Rubelowsky earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has special interests in ophthalmology, emergency medicine, and exotic animal medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys scuba diving, running, and spending time with her friends and family. She shares her life with one dog, Banjo, and one cat, Oliver, who keeps her on her toes and bring her endless joy!

Nyx hit the jackpot when she found her new home! Although ChatGPT says she’s a corgi, we know that spotted nose and blue eye are a dead giveaway for an Australian Shepherd. She’s sure gonna keep her new family amused.
