Summer fostered Dawn, although she knew her time was short. We have many dogs at our rescue who have spent years there and would like the chance to run and play at a home. They are in great health. When you foster, we pay for all expenses. Please consider.

Athena is a cupcake, she may look like a big, energetic, fierce dog, but she is a cupcake. After years at our rescue, she has aged and is looking for a place to stretch out with no time limit on relaxing. She enjoys short, slow walks and gets along well with other dogs. Want to give her a chance in your home, to see if she is a fit for you and your family? We will always accept dogs back into the rescue should they not be perfect for you...but this one...there is no doubt you will love her! She has a sister (NOVA) with the same qualities!! They do not have to be adopted together. www.route66petrescue.org fee 150

Meet the sweetest little babies Lil dude and Slim Shady. These boys are a bonded pair and absolutely the cutest brothers. They were dumped on the beach in Galveston, one of the rescues friends found them and brought them to Route 66.

They are 2-3 years old and need to be adopted together as they are extremely bonded with eachother. They are true to their chihuahua nature and love to bark at strangers, but if you're there person? They absolutely melt when they see you.

If you're interested in having your own pair of pups please fill out an application on our website or come meet them in person Saturdays at our adoption event! www.route66petrescue.org fee 150
