π¨ OKLAHOMAβ¦ OUR SHELTERS NEED YOU. βΌοΈ
Animal shelters across our area are overwhelmed. More animals are entering shelters, and the people caring for them are doing everything they can, but they cannot do it alone.
The reality isβ¦
There are only so many hours in a day. And most shelters are understaffed and overwhelmed.
Volunteers help provide extra care and enrichment that animals need while also supporting the incredible shelter staff who are working nonstop.
Volunteers can help with things like:
πΎ Dog walking and enrichment
πΎ Cat socialization
πΎ Bathing and grooming
πΎ Laundry, dishes, and cleaning projects
πΎ Helping keep kennels and common areas clean
πΎ Adoption events
πΎ Organizing supplies
πΎ Giving animals extra attention and reducing shelter stress
Our local shelters need their communities to step up!!
You do not have to adopt to make a difference. You do not have to be a rescue expert. You do not have to commit every weekend. You just have to show up.
We know a lot of people want to help but donβt know where to start. Below are the shelters in our area and how you can get involved.
Pick one. Sign up. Show up. β€οΈ

The animals sitting in shelters are not invisible. They are waiting for someone to give them a break from kennel life. Someone to take them outside. Someone to help them feel safe. Someone to give them attention. Someone to remind them they matter. β€οΈ
Maybe that someone is you.
Even a few hours a month can make a difference.
Please share this. Tag a friend. Get involved.
