Maggie is a sweet little Mini Goldendoodle looking for her forever home. She was born February 2nd and has such a wonderful personality. She is AMAZING with kids and would make a perfect family companion. 🥹

She is:
✨ House trained
✨ Great with children
✨ Very well behaved
✨ Doesn’t chew on furniture or things she shouldn’t
✨ Rarely/doesn’t bark
✨ Sweet, loving, and playful
✨ Loves being around her people

Nothing makes me happier than knowing all my babies are happy and healthy in their new homes.

🐾 Kurly Ks Potty Training Tips 🐾

One of the biggest keys to potty training is consistency. Your puppy isn’t being stubborn—they’re simply learning what you expect.

Here are my top recommendations:

🐶 Take your puppy outside every hour. Also take them out immediately after eating, drinking, playing, and waking up from naps. Frequent trips outside help prevent accidents before they happen.

🦮 Keep your puppy with you at all times. If you can’t watch them, they’re much more likely to sneak off and have an accident. I recommend keeping them on a lightweight leash attached to you so you can quickly recognize when they need to go outside.

🛏️ Use a grated crate with a divider. I highly recommend a crate with a raised grate or tray underneath so that if your puppy has an accident, they aren’t forced to lie in it. Puppies naturally prefer to stay clean, and this setup helps protect that instinct while keeping them comfortable. The crate should also be just large enough for them to stand, turn around, and lie down—not so large that they can use one end as a bathroom and the other as a bed.

❤️ Expect some crying and accidents. Your puppy has just left everything they’ve ever known. Crying during the first few nights and occasional potty accidents are completely normal parts of the adjustment process.

📚 Do your research. I have a zero-tolerance policy for owners who aren’t willing to educate themselves on puppy training. There are excellent free resources on YouTube and Google covering potty training, crate training, and puppy behavior. The more you learn, the more successful your puppy will be.

🌟 Stay patient and consistent. Every accident is a learning opportunity. Celebrate successes, don’t punish mistakes, and remember that good habits are built through repetition.

The work you put in during these first few weeks will pay off for the rest of your puppy’s life. 🐾❤️

I genuinely get frustrated when people automatically say they want a Goldendoodle over a Labradoodle without understanding what they’re comparing.

Let’s break it down.

Goldendoodle
• 75% Poodle
• 25% Golden Retriever

Labradoodle
• 75% Poodle
• 25% Labrador Retriever

So here’s the question…

What specific Golden Retriever traits are you looking for?

Or…

What specific Labrador Retriever traits are you trying to avoid?

Because if your answer is “I like the Goldendoodle coat better,” you’re asking the wrong question.

At 75% Poodle, the coat is overwhelmingly influenced by the Poodle genetics—not whether the remaining 25% is Golden Retriever or Labrador Retriever.

Instead of obsessing over coat texture, start asking about what actually affects life with your dog every single day:

• Temperament
• Confidence
• Trainability
• Energy level
• Nerve strength
• Socialization
• The health testing and temperament of the parents

Those things matter far more than whether the other 25% is a Golden Retriever or a Labrador.

A beautiful coat doesn’t make a great family dog.

An exceptional temperament does.
