***ANNOUNCEMENT****
After an incredible two and a half years, I want to share an important update with all of you.
**DOG on Harvard has been sold.** The business will transition to new ownership and, at a later date, will operate under a new name and new management.
It’s difficult to put into words how grateful I am for everyone who has supported DOG on Harvard. What started as an idea became something far bigger than I ever imagined.
In just **two and a half short years, we had the privilege of serving more than 4,000 individual dogs and generated more than $1 million in revenue.** Those numbers are something I’m incredibly proud of, but what they really represent is thousands of people choosing to trust us with members of their family.
You brought us your puppies, your senior dogs, your nervous dogs, your wild ones, your perfectly behaved ones, and plenty who were convinced they owned the place. You let us celebrate birthdays, first grooms, holidays, daycare friendships, training victories, and countless ordinary days that ended up meaning a lot more than they probably seemed at the time.
Thank you for every appointment you booked, every recommendation you made, every review you left, every friend you sent our way, and every time you chose to support a locally owned business.
Most of all, thank you for trusting us with your dogs. That trust was never something I took lightly.
There are so many people and dogs I’ve gotten to know because of this place, and those relationships are what I’ll remember most. DOG on Harvard became much more than a business to me, and I’m incredibly proud of what was built here and grateful to everyone who became part of it.
**If you already have a grooming appointment scheduled, don’t worry — your appointment is still good.** Kaitlyn will continue grooming right across the street until she comes back when the new business opens so there’s no need to cancel or reschedule. I’ll be reaching out directly to everyone with an upcoming appointment to provide the new address and any other details you need.
Before the transition, I would genuinely love to see as many of you as possible. **Please come by and see us before October 27th.** Bring the dogs, stop in, say hello, take a picture, share a memory, or just give us a chance to thank you in person.
There will be more information about the new ownership, new name, and future plans as that transition takes place.
For now, I simply want to say **THANK YOU**.
Thank you for supporting DOG on Harvard.
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for letting us take care of your dogs.
And thank you for being part of something that has meant so much to me.
I hope I get to see a lot of you before the 27th.
****OH. THE GROOMERS ARE GOING TO BE TRANFERRiNG TO THE NEW PLACE AND WILL BE GROOMING IN THE INTERIM SO DONT WORRY ABOUT FINDING A NEW GROOMER, JUST WILL BE AT A DIFFERENT PLACE NEARBY IN THE MEANTIME.*****
With tremendous gratitude,
Brant
