Help us welcome this sweet girl, Bailey!

Bailey is our Odin's half sister and is with us for a modified Board and Train. Bailey lacks confidence and therefore is showing unwelcome reactions when meeting people and other dogs.

We are creating a modified training specifically for her to get her more confidence and when it's time for her to go home we will educate her owners to make sure they are keeping up with her training!

🎆Alright folks, this week and probably next week too is going to be the loudest until new years. 🎇

Here are some tips to help ease your dogs anxiety:

🧨Make sure your pets have collars on with updated contact information!!

🧨Walk dogs on a leash as the sun starts going down

🧨Don't leave dogs unattended outside

🧨Utilize a crate, this would be great while you're home and definitely when you're leaving them unattended.

🧨Exercise your dog prior to any firework activity and give them something to chew on can help too

🧨 Turn the TV a little louder or place them in a room, in their crate, with some music turned up

I want to brag on this sweet girl, Winnie, and her Momma!

Winnie was a younger dog who was found by Emily and her family and they ended up falling in love with her and kept her.

They reached out at the beginning of the year about training and tips until I started back up after Rylee was born. Well, today we had our 3rd class session. And it was a HUGE win for Winnie and her Mom!

Winnie has some confidence issues so being out in public makes it hard for her to focus on learning. We've been struggling to even get her to sit, but she has a top notch Watch Me!

Today we went to Bass Pro Shops and after some searching their dog aisles found some treats and a bully stick that Winnie LOVED! Well, the bully stick is JUST what she wanted to work for. So, we got her to successfully work (SIT) for a few seconds of reward by getting to chew on the bully stick!

As you can see on her moms face, she was VERY excited and pleased!!

More times then I can count, I've had to think outside the box to find a solution that works for a specific dog. Dog training can't and shouldn't be one size fits all!
