Every adoption represents a life changed, a family made whole, and a space opened for us to help another animal in need.

Meet Kipp 🐾💙

Adoption Fee SPONSORED!

Kipp is a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix (about 40 lbs) with a gentle heart, great manners, and so much love to give — he’s just been waiting far too long for his forever home.

This sweet boy is:
✔️ Potty trained
✔️ Neutered & fully vaccinated
✔️ Calm, affectionate, and people-focused
✔️ Wonderful with kids
✔️ A true snuggle bug 🛋️💕

Kipp has done very well in a foster home, where he showed just how loving, relaxed, and easygoing he can be in a home environment. Since returning to boarding, he’s understandably feeling a bit restless and bored — he’s a dog who thrives on companionship and routine, not long kennel stays.

🐕 Kipp would do best as an only dog, where he can feel secure and soak up all the love and attention.

👨 A gentle note about men:
Kipp can be a little slower to warm up to men at first. He does best with calm, patient introductions — once he feels safe, his affectionate and loyal personality really shines. With time and consistency, he forms deep, trusting bonds.

✨ Why has Kipp been overlooked?
We honestly don’t know. He’s been with us a long time despite being house trained, family-friendly, foster-proven, and ready for a home. Sometimes the quiet, steady dogs are the ones who wait the longest — and Kipp is one of them.

Big personality.
Professional cuddle expert. 💛

Buttercup is a 9-year-old, 23-pound low-rider with the cutest little face and a hilarious, lovable personality. She’s dog friendly, potty trained, enjoys being outside exploring the yard, and then happily settles in for couch time with her people.

Basically? She’s the best of both worlds:
🐾 Adventure buddy outside
🛋️ Snuggle bug inside

Her foster says she’s been doing great with other dogs, and as you can see… she takes relaxation very seriously. 😅

Buttercup does need a home without chickens or poultry (they were simply a little too exciting for her), but for the right family she’s going to make an incredibly fun and loyal companion.

The person answering your message is a volunteer.

The person reviewing your application is a volunteer.

The person coordinating your meet-and-greet is a volunteer.

The person caring for the animal you’re interested in is often a volunteer, too.

We work hard to respond as quickly as possible, but we are balancing jobs, families, and other responsibilities while helping homeless pets find their forever homes.

We ask for patience, understanding, and kindness as we work through applications and inquiries.

We’re all here for the same reason: helping animals.

Some dogs want adventure.

Ferguson just wants YOU.

This sweet 1-year-old Brussels Griffon mix has become known in his foster home as a total love bug. His favorite thing in the world is being close to his people.

He’ll look up at you with those soulful eyes, wag his tail, and quietly ask for affection. No drama. No demands. Just love.

At about 24 pounds, Ferguson is the perfect size for someone looking for a loyal companion who wants to be part of everyday life.

While other dogs seem to come and go, Ferguson is still waiting for someone to notice what a special boy he is.
