When I send you available appointment times, please try to reply as quickly as possible. Many spots are being claimed within the same day, and delayed responses make it hard for me to move through inquiries and keep everyone scheduled smoothly.

I attended two live zoom webinars and gained some invaluable knowledge and resources for dog grooming, training, and handling.

๐ƒ๐จ๐  ๐๐ž๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž - This was my first time attending the DBC and I already look forward to rewatching and taking more notes! I learned a lot about comfort zones within a shelter environment with Victoria Stillwell, canine cognition and learning with Kay Attwood, how dogs naturally learn through habituation with Irith Bloom, more on shaping with Adam Daines, Kamal Fernandez spoke about living with multiple dogs, Andrew Hale shared some important insights on supportive walking, Brian Hare and Vanessa Woods presented newfound breakthroughs with puppyhood training, so much amazing information about herding dogs with Maia Huff-Owen, we also learned how dogs can sniff out invasive species with Melissa McCue-McGrath, we explored the social health and needs of dogs with Sindhoor Pangal, Yaz Porritt discussed the role of nutrition in regards to dogs' pain, and of course Kristina Spaulding was probably my favorite speaker as she discussed learned helplessness and learned control- vital topics of discussion for the dog grooming industry!

I also attended the ๐Ÿ‘ ๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฉ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐„๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐จ๐  ๐‘๐ž๐ก๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Œ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ with Jo Middleton which discussed how trauma effects canine cognition and how to work through it.

I will also be attending the three day ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐œ ๐๐š๐ข๐ง ๐’๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ this coming up weekend!
