Hiring Urgent Care & Emergency Veterinarians | Tulsa, OK | 100% Locally & Women-Owned
STATVet Animal Urgent Care is seeking to add a 6th & 7th full time Veterinarian to our multi-location urgent care-exclusive practice.
STATVet sees a wide variety of illnesses and injuries in dogs and cats, and we’re the only UC/ER practice in Tulsa offering after-hours care for exotic companion animals. We don’t see wellness cases (no vaccinations, spays/neuters, or dentistry). STATVet can diagnose and treat most urgent care and emergency cases – we have all the toys you’d expect. We’re not staffed overnight, so critically sick friends are referred to 24hr facilities.
Both of our brand new hospitals are bright, airy, uncluttered, and feature free-flowing floor plans with large windows throughout. Whose day isn’t made better when the sunlight shines in? Because employee well-being is a top priority, we have a written “No Drama” policy, monthly DVM meetings, and monthly team meetings to ensure we’re all on the same page (though we might squabble over Treatment Room tunes sometimes).
You’ll be supported by a team of 3-6 experienced nurses per shift and 5 full-time veterinarians who carry a combined 20+ years of experience in tertiary referral hospitals and 24hr ICUs. Two of our team vets are on call for same day abdominal ultrasound imaging, endoscopy, case consultations, and surgical back-up.
A minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience is required (GP backgrounds welcome!). Compensation is based on experience with highest packages offered to seasoned ER vets who are comfortable with surgeries, ultrasound, and endoscopy. We also love mentoring less experienced veterinarians seeking to develop these skills.
