20 days, and 13 states. Here are some pictures of Enzo, getting to explore the states❤️
This was my first multiple state road trip. Also Enzos first. We didnt research the dog friendly places, we just went with the flow. Every single place we went to was dog friendly though. I am so happy we took Enzo, and decided to make a road trip of driving to Washington state to visit family, instead of flying.
If you are planning on taking your dog on a road trip, the 3 things that made my life so much easier are:
#1. 30ft waterproof leash and harness(he had so much freedom at the beach, was able to swim, run, and all I had to do was wash it off with a hose to get the dirt/sand off)
#2. His own dog suitcase(food storage, shot records, treats, toys, all in one place).
#3. Dog water bottle stainless steel(it looks just like a human water bottle, but the bottom will twist off, so i can pour water into the bowl. Makes it where I can also use it as a water bottle).
The dog car set/seat belt was also a must have for such a long road trip.
Out of all the places we drove, the 101 hwy from the coast of California to Washington was by far my favorite. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a dog friendly road trip. So many stops along that route, all dog friendly.
