Saturn is MASSIVE! We are less than 2 weeks from her due date and I can't wait to see some Moonglows!!! Though I'm a little worried about how many she's holding in there... Her limit is 33 according to my rack... Any guesses?

Year 2 of trying this pairing and I think we finally got it! We will know for sure hopefully in a couple weeks when and if she sheds! If she is gravid, we should have a litter in August!

We are on post ovulation shed (POS) watch! This girl faked me out last year, but I think we got it this time! She ate a "colossal" rat Sunday, Monday morning she wasn't any bigger than expected but Monday night she was massive! I thought her temps were too high (they were just a touch with the new radiant heat panel) and the rat was bloating, but the swelling went down quickly after dropping temps a bit and she's still looking big and Mercury (the male) isn't interested in her anymore. All good signs!

If she sheds, I expect it in about 2-3 weeks! Fingers crossed!!

Why is it always the grumpy ones that need to go to the vet? 😑

Geist is one of my 3 year old females and she has started showing a bit of swelling around her nose. Her mouth looks fine, shes eating and otherwise acting fine. But shes gone through two back to back sheds with the swelling still there.

This is just a reminder that its always best to bring your snakes to the vet BEFORE anything gets too serious. Things are easier to treat if caught early and the added stress of medicating wont be as detrimental. Reptiles are ones you don't want to wait around on.

We are getting back into leopard geckos....sorta!!! One of my biggest regrets was selling ALL of my animals. I was finally in the right direction with the quality of my geckos I had been after for years, only to let them all go. It's time for a fresh start. I will only breed maybe one to two females at a time for now, but hopefully, I can get myself back on the same track I was in before quality wise fairly quickly! I did keep my big male RAPTOR so we already have a boy waiting for this girl when shes ready. Just need to get the hang of things again and then buy the perfect White and Yellow boy!

Alright... let's try this again... Saturn never produced a litter this year, so now that Wrathe is old enough to breed, he's going in as backup. We will see who is more interested in breeding and go from there 👌 I'd be happy either way! Both males will make some quality babies with Saturn!
