I've pi**ed off half my pens today. I made a pen for ChickenTops and a friend because she had a secret nest in my garage. Plus Littlefoot needs to release his claim on her. I removed the most mature Ameraucana boy to the bachelor pen because he's unfortunately not going to make the cut in that pen. Elvis also moved to the bachelor pen. He's done a great job at teaching the younger boys and taking care of the girls, but now that my BCM roos are mature I can start working on egg color. I've already been singling out the girls that will be sold.

This is the hardest part about working towards certain goals. You have to make choices on who to keep and who to let go.
