🐾 Move slowly & speak softly
🐾 Take a photo + note the exact location
🐾 Check for tags / ID
🐾 Knock on a few nearby doors (they’re usually within a couple houses)
🐾 Post to neighborhood groups + local lost & found pages
🐾 If safe, offer a little food and stay nearby
