Unfortunately for Mama libra, things didn't work out in her last placement. The major problem was she scooted out through an Open door the first night and was on her own for several hours and the Arizona darkness. Thankfully some young boys managed to catch her and she was returned to her new family. She was TERRIFIED! Poor baby refused to eat or come out of hiding for days. Everyone involved realized that her frightening ordeal had colored how she felt about the people she was with. We took her back in with no questions. Our plan is to stabilize her for 2 to 3 weeks. At that point, if she is doing as well as we believe she can, we will begin looking for a good placement. So if you know anyone who's looking for a young adult dog with good basic training and flawless house training, you can let them know that she's available.
