Gatsby impressed me (and everyone) beyond words!! This horse isn’t even 4 yet, has been under saddle about 60 days now, has never been ridden off property, and has never jumped anything XC! He cruised around everything without a blink (except for getting in the water the first time, that was scary and he needed a buddy to show him the way). Otherwise, he jumped brush, ditches and banks with no problems at all! I can’t believe it! Really looking forward to the ride and shows on this one.

Ari improved so much in the two days with Jock, I loved getting much needed help with her ride-ability! Can’t wait to go to Galway in a few weeks and use our new balanced canter work!

Borgo was once again a champ on XC day yesterday… stealing everyone’s hearts. He was so rideable and willing to do all the things, even jumping in/out of and dropping into water! He’s going to make someone a fun horse!

We had such a wonderful time at the Jock Paget clinic hosted by Carefree Farms! Can’t thank Laura enough for bringing him in and fitting us into the schedule! All four horses were as perfect as can be, and improved and learned so much in two rides. I’ll post videos of each horse here next!

Borgo was lovely, and Mr Steady-Eddie today! He won everyone over, even Jock!

And the superstar of the day for us was Gatsby! This was his first ever ride off property, with just a light morning lunge he was able come out in the afternoon and not only be ridden, but jump his first oxer, first course and the biggest jumps he’s faced yet!! I’m so impressed with this horse’s attitude and willingness!
