One Zoo, many people who make up Reid Park Zoo 🦚

And we are all beyond excited to join you in this new adventure of the opening of Pathway to Asia on Friday, November 13! This new permanent expansion will add 4.5 acres to Reid Park Zoo, and we are anticipating large crowds.

Timed tickets will be required for both general admission and Zoo Members for the first few weeks of Pathway to Asia to limit how many people come in per hour to make sure everyone has some breathing room. Those tickets are free for Zoo Members, and provide guests with a time to arrive to enjoy Pathway to Asia, but not a time they have to leave. More details will come closer to opening. Stay tuned!

See some of the amazing cars in Tucson AAZK Cars for Conservation, and then head to Reid Park Zoo to receive $2 off Zoo admission the day of the show! Saturday, October 10 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tucson AAZK will be hosting a free car show, located in the Hi Corbett parking lot, just Southeast of the Zoo.

Register in advance with Tucson AAZK to enter your vehicle in the show!

The winner of the show takes home the ultimate bragging rights and chooses exactly which conservation organization receives 100% of the event proceeds.

Are you a frequent flyer on the Reid Park Zoo Railway? If you are, you may have noticed the Zoo Train is offline for repairs and maintenance. We're not sure when the next train will be leaving the station, but we'll make an announcement so you can grab your seat before the conductor yells "All Aboard!" Jump into a brand new adventure with Reid Park Zoo’s daily activities!

Each day there are seven opportunities to hear from a Zoo Keeper or Conservation Education team member to learn and ask questions about your favorite feathered, scaled, or hairy animals. How much food does an elephant eat each day? What special care does Yebonga, the elderly rhinoceros receive? Why do ring-tailed lemurs sometimes look like they are meditating? Get the inside scoop!

When you enter the Zoo, stop by the Daily Activities board to see where each presentation is being held that day.
