Happy Summer! Dr. Upchurch will be on vacation out of state from Wednesday, August 12th through Wednesday, August 26th. She will return for appointments on Thursday, August 27th. During this time, staff will be available to answer questions, schedule appointments, and dispense previously-prescribed, non-controlled medications. We are making some changes to clinic policies:

First, we are now accepting new clients! New client appointments will be available on a limited basis with a nonrefundable deposit that will go towards your cat’s care. New clients who no show, cancel, or try to reschedule their first appointment with less than one business day of notice may not be permitted to reschedule.

Second, due to an unprecedented number of last-minute cancelations, we will have to start charging cancelation fees. These fees will apply to veterinarian appointments that are canceled or rescheduled with less than one business day of notice. Accounts with three or more such cancelations may be restricted to drop-off appointments.
We understand that life and cats can both be unpredictable, and exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for unforeseeable circumstances. This new policy will apply to cancelations occurring on or after Monday, July 13th, 2026.

Happy Memorial Day! We will be closed on Monday, 5/25/26 and will reopen again for our regular hours on Tuesday, 5/26/26.

It's that time of year again!

It's that extremely dangerous time of year again. Lilies and cats do NOT mix well! All parts of lily plants, including the bulbs, leaves, petals, pollen, nectar, and even the water in a vase of cut lilies or in the tray under a potted lily, can cause acute renal failure and death. If you have cats, do not bring lilies into the house, and don't grow lilies in the yard if you have outdoor cats.

It's time for Dr. Upchurch to get her continuing education! She will be out of the office for the Western Veterinary Conference from Friday, February 13th through Sunday, February 22nd, and will be back to her regular appointment schedule on Monday, February 23rd.
During this time, clinic staff will be available to answer questions, schedule appointments, and refill existing prescriptions of non-controlled drugs. We will not be able to authorize any new prescriptions, refill any controlled drugs, or diagnose illnesses, so be sure to make arrangements for those things before Dr. Upchurch leaves.
